Hi all,
It took some time, but I'm proud to say each and every one of you have personal feedback from me on your week four Writing-to-learn post. Take some time to read the feedback before you post for this week, I think you'll appreciate the commentary, and in some cases, it might inform the way you write for this next posting due Thurs. Feel free to return any dialogue.

Last but not least is the lasted on Vivian Lowery Bishop, Age 2, who went to a bday party at the zoo and refused to ride the train with group. So here we are on the Merry-Go-Round, by ourselves. And just a quick FYI, she's NOT a leopard here, she's a peacock. ?!
Dr. B,
ReplyDeleteI must say, she is just a doll! Just too cute!!!:) I just had to tell you!!!
We went to our clinicals this week at Oak Grove and one of the books my kids were reading was a fiction book about the Dust Bowl. Very cool.
ReplyDeleteKrystal, isn't she adorable? I ought to bring her to class one day for some live content area learning w a 2 yr old. But you know where there's adorable, there's also bossy pants temper tantrum.
ReplyDeleteAnd Rachel, way cool about the fiction Dust Bowl connection. remember the name by chance?
I think it was called From Dust to Hope, but it was a leveled book that came with their curriculum. It was about a young girl that had to move from Oklahoma to California and the prejudice she faced there. I never realized that Okie was something used in a negative connotation. Learn something new every day.
ReplyDeleteMy grandmother, Kitty, was an Okie and rode with her family in a covered wagon across the country. One of the reasons I connect with Out of the Dust, it feels somewhat personal too me.
